Paul N. Flannigan Sr.

Mr. Flannigan, 62, of the West Keansburg section of Hazlet, died March 27, 2011, at home, He worked for N.J. Department of Transportation for 32 years, retiring in 2002, after which he worked for Lowe’s in Holmdel for three years. He coached the Middletown Eagles Pop Warner team for 20 years as well as MYAA and BYAA baseball for several years. Mr. Flannigan was a car owner, crew chief and driver for Jr. Motorsports. He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Fred Conner; his mother- and father-in-law, Dorothy and Edward Arnold; his parents, Charles and Matilda Flannigan; and a brother, Charles Flannigan. Surviving are his wife, Eileen Flannigan; three sons, Paul Jr., Joseph and his wife, Jennifer, and Anthony and his fiancée, Victoria; six grandchildren; a brother-inlaw, Richard A. Milko Jr.; a sister-in-law, Karen Lee; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. Burial followed at Bay View Cemetery, Leonardo.
