A Day in the Life of SCLS Libraries
Bridgewater, NJ. April 13, 2011
As a part of the Snapshot Day, library staff will be taking photographs, with permission, of patrons throughout the day. A short survey, available in both English and Spanish, asks visitors about the reasons for their visit on Wednesday, April 13 along with an opportunity to provide additional feedback.
– The Somerset County Library System (SCLS) wants your participation! Visit one of our nine branches on Wednesday, April 13 and let us know how important the library is to you, your family and friends. The New Jersey Library Association’s (NJLA) Snapshot Day helps New Jersey libraries in knowing their users so they can serve them even better.
Snapshot Day is taking place during National Library Week, April 10-16. First celebrated in 1958, National Library Week is sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April.
SCLS looks forward to getting a snapshot of our patrons on April 13.
Patrons with further questions can call SCLS at (908)526-4016 or enter the website at
http://www.somerset.lib.nj.us/. The Somerset County Library System has branches in Bridgewater, Bound Brook, Hillsborough, at the Mary Jacobs Library in Rocky Hill, North Plainfield, Peapack & Gladstone, Somerville, Warren Township and Watchung.
