Montgomery
Emery M. Allen Jr., 33, of Ewing, was charged with hindering apprehension, driving with a suspended license and talking on a cell phone while driving. At 3:20 a.m. on April 7, police stopped Mr. Allen on Route 601. Police say Mr. Allen attempted to give fictitious information to conceal his suspended license, but they determined his real name and arrested him. He was later released, pending court.
Denise Fowler, 24, was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drugs in a motor vehicle and failure to wear a seatbelt. At 12 p.m. on April 6, police stopped Ms. Fowler on Cherry Valley Road. During the stop, police said they found Ms. Fowler was in possession of marijuana. Her passenger, Douglas Ford, 29, was found to have two active warrants. Both individuals were arrested. Mr. Ford was charged with failure to wear a seatbelt. Ms. Fowler and Mr. Ford were later released, pending court. Mr. Ford posted a $299 bail.
West Windsor
Christopher J. Husinke, 34, of East Windsor, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, refusal to submit to breath tests and tinted front windows. At 3:21 a.m. on April 3, police stopped Mr. Husinke on Route 1 near Alexander Road and administered field sobriety tests. He was arrested and taken to police headquarters where he refused to comply with breath tests. He was later released, pending court.
Orlando M. Paulino, 20, of Akland Gardens, N.Y., was charged with possession of marijuana, speeding and possession of drugs in a motor vehicle. At 3 a.m. on April 6, police stopped Mr. Paulino on Route 1 near Quakerbridge Road where they said they observed evidence of marijuana use inside the car. He was arrested and later released on his own recognizance, pending court.
Police are investigating a theft that occurred at 4 p.m. on April 2 at the Walmart in the Nassau Park Shopping Center. A Walmart employee told police that two white males, wearing jeans and black jackets, were seen removing two cameras from a display in the store. The theft was captured on store surveillance. The cameras were valued at $899 and $799.
Wataru Kondo, 43, of Princeton, was charged with driving while intoxicated. At 2:54 a.m. on April 7, police stopped Mr. Kondo on Route 1 near Washington Road and arrested him after suspecting he was intoxicated and took him to police headquarters, where he submitted breath samples for testing. He was later released, pending court.
Jeffrey R. Dzik, 52, of Lawrenceville, was charged with shoplifting. At 6:23 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to Wegman’s Market. An employee reported Mr. Dzik placed items inside a bag he was carrying, but while checking out at a self-scan area, failed to remove the items before exiting the store. The stolen groceries were valued at $88. He was arrested and later released, pending court.
Christopher R. Sneddon, 23, of Lawrenceville, was charged with possession of marijuana, speeding, possession of drugs in a motor vehicle and failure to keep right. At 2:21 a.m. on Sunday, police stopped Mr. Sneddon on Route 1 near Quakerbridge Road and said they saw an open beer bottle in the back seat. While searching the vehicle, police said they also found a bag of marijuana. Mr. Sneddon was arrested and later released, pending court.
Alexis Wilus, 29, of West Windsor, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, speeding and failure to maintain a single lane. At 2:18 a.m. on Sunday, police stopped Ms. Wilus on Windsor Road near the South Lane intersection and said they determined she was intoxicated after administering field sobriety tests. She was arrested and later released, pending court.
