Monday was the filing deadline for the June 7 primary and candidates have filed for local government seats in seven of the northern Burlington County towns covered by the Register-News.
Bordentown City does not hold a primary because it has a nonpartisan City Commission and holds its elections in May.
Filing to run for their respective party nominations are:
Bordentown Township
Republicans Bruce Hill and John Moynihan and Democrats Jason Medina and Jim Cann are running for two three-year terms on the Township Committee.
Chesterfield
Republicans Jeremy Liedtka and Megan Jencik are running for one three-year term on the Township Committee. No Democrats filed.
Fieldsboro
Democrats Diana Ayala and David Hansell and Republicans Stephanie and Robert Berry are running for two three-year terms on the Township Committee.
Florence
Democrat Dennis O’Hara and Republican Craig Wilkie are running for one four-year term as township mayor. Republicans Theodore Lovenduski and Paul Ostrander and Democrats John Fratinardo and Shawn Ryan are running for two three-year terms on the Township Council.
Mansfield
Republicans Art Puglia and Janice DiGiuseppe are running for two three-year terms on the Township Committee. There were no filings by Democrats.
New Hanover
Republicans George Ivins and Paul Peterla are running for two three-year terms on the Township Committee. No Democrats filed
North Hanover
Republican Louis DeLorenzo and Democrat John Kocubinski are running for one three-year term on the Township Committee.
Springfield
The township has no vacancies for the upcoming year.
