   West Amwell Township police reported:
   — On April 2 at approximately 2:40 a.m., police went to the area of Route 31 near Linvale Road. Upon arrival, the officer saw a Hopewell Township police officer attempting to stop a vehicle due to erratic operation. The vehicle was stopped and the driver, Prasantki Patel, 35, of Lebanon, was taken into custody by Patrolman Edward Skillman for suspected driving while intoxicated. He was processed and issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, failure to maintain lane control, careless driving, reckless driving and failure to produce a driver’s license. He was released to a friend.
   Lambertville police reported:
   — On March 30, an envelope was received in the police department mail containing a counterfeit $5 bill. The envelope was addressed to “Police, Lambertville, NJ” on the front and “Rec’d from Ennis Deli as change 3/25/11” on the back. The bill was turned over to the United States Secret Service.
   — On March 30, Officer Michael Gramlich was on routine patrol when he saw a man, known to him, walking on Bridge Street. Ronald Maximov, 55, of Lambertville, was known to have an outstanding warrant for violation of probation, police said. Mr. Maximov was advised of the warrant and taken into custody. Once processed, Mr. Maximov was transported to the Hunterdon County Jail, where he was lodged in default.
   — On April 1, Sgt. Robert Brown and Officer Michael Miloszar went to the Lambertville-New Hope Free Bridge, to assist New Hope police with an out-of-control man. The man fled on foot on Lambert Lane to the towpath, heading north. He was identified as Mark Wim, 39, of Stockton. Mr. Wim was involved in an assault in New Hope, police said. After the assault, he fled the scene in an attempt to elude the officers.
Mr. Wim was “agitated, yelling profanities, and threw his wallet at a New Hope officer. He was also highly intoxicated due to alcohol,” police noted. Mr. Wim was eventually taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct, obstructing, and failure to obey a lawful order from a Lambertville police officer. New Hope police also charged him with disorderly conduct.
   — On April 2, while traveling on York Street, Sgt. Brown saw a vehicle cross over into the opposite lane of travel and proceed to park on the wrong side of the street. The driver was told he had been stopped for failure to keep right and improper parking. Upon showing his credentials, he was identified as Steve Viventi, 31, of Lambertville. While speaking with him, the sergeant smelled a “strong odor of an alcoholic beverage” on Mr. Viventi’s breath. After taking field sobriety tests, it was determined that Mr. Viventi was incapable of driving, police said. He was transported to headquarters and charged with DUI, failure to keep right, careless driving and failure to exhibit a driver’s license. He was released to a friend.
