SOUTH BRUNSWICK – Del Piano deserves vote

By Maria Vitale, Monmouth Junction
To the editor:
I whole heartedly agree with the letter in last week’s paper in support of Pat Del Piano for school board.
Pat is a wonderful person and someone I am happy to call my friend. His generosity of spirit is demonstrated through his many volunteer efforts in his neighborhood and throughout the community. Pat is a straight talker who does not have any “hidden agendas”. By electing Pat to the school board we will be gaining a true child advocate who loves children and will be able to help the board to move in the right direction.
Despite being a busy firefighter in Jersey City, Pat always found the time to be at his wife’s pre-school, located here in town, to play with the children and make them laugh. He has a natural ability to draw children to him. He is the types of person that you would want around your child.
Pat is the father to four children; one son and three daughters. His oldest son is a graduate of SBHS 2006, and college 2010. His two oldest daughters currently attend SBHS and his youngest daughter is at XRDS South Middle School. Pat is a dedicated father who has been involved in his children’s education from day one. He is a hard working, honest man who will not take his duties lightly and will stand up for the tax payer and be fair in his decisions. Pat Del Piano is a man you can trust.
In addition to his other qualities Pat is a man with a sense of humor. He has the ability to ease tensions with his ability to make people laugh. This ability is often not valued enough. I have witnessed Pat relieving tensions and calming volatile situations with his humor thus allowing people to continue to work toward and achieve their objectives. Pat Del Piano would be a great addition to the South Brunswick Board of Education and I hope the voters will elect him.
