SCFDW Announces 2011 Eleanor Roosevelt Distinguished Service Award Winners

The Somerset County Federation of Democratic Women (SCFDW) is proud to announce the winners of the 2011 Eleanor Roosevelt Distinguished Service Awards. The mission of the SCFDW is to unite the Democratic women of Somerset County, encourage Democratic women to participate in government at all levels and to support qualified Democratic women nominees who seek public office.
The winners are Peg Glicklich of Franklin who will receive the County Award and Carol Brady of Somerville who will receive the Federation Award. Winners from individual towns are Carolyn Freeman (Bedminster), Bonnie Diehl (Bernards), Pat Powers Wry (Bernardsville), Joan Ruberto (Bound Brook), Abby Rutka (Branchburg), Patricia Rydberg (Bridgewater), Meryle Kramer (Franklin), Jodi Clyde-Rozos (Green Brook), Maureen Vella (Hillsborough), Sharon Krebs (Manville), Nikole ‘Lee’ Forbes (Montgomery), Teena Utter (Somerville), and August ‘Augie’ Carlton (South Bound Brook).
The awards will be presented at the annual dinner on May 19, 2011 at Russo’s Continental Restaurant in Bound Brook. A reception will begin at 6:00pm with dinner at 7:00pm. Tickets are $60 and can be obtained from SCFDW c/o Carol Brady, 9 Lee Way, Somerville, NJ 08876.
