Ladies Night Out: Got Attitude?

By L.C. Hogan
WASHINGTON CROSSING –  Hats off to women who juggle everything, from after-school activities to negotiating business contracts to tackling do-it-yourself projects. No doubt that women wear many hats. But how do women balance their attitudes with all the different hats they wear?
Appreciating what you have, instead of what you think you need, is the only way to live. That’s the theme of Ladies Night Out on Friday, May 6. This community event will be held 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. at Washington Crossing United Methodist Church, 1895 Wrightstown Road, Washington Crossing, Pa.
Grab your favorite hat. Bring your best friend to Ladies Night Out. Join women of all ages for an evening of sharing and learning how God equips women with His grace to be daughters, mothers, wives, co-workers, and friends. This evening event will feature two local women who know about wearing multiple hats with “attitude” and God’s grace. Ruth Cherry will be the featured speaker at Ladies Night Out.  Cherry is a nurse and an excellent communicator who shifts from sharing about serious subjects to offering wit and wisdom without missing a beat.
Kathy Ulrich will provide worship music for the event. Ulrich is a professional musician and songwriter who has also written and performed her one-woman plays throughout Bucks County.
Admission to “Ladies Night Out”: $5.00 and wearing your favorite hat. To register, visit http://www.crossingumc.org/ministries/women/ or call (215) 493-5080.  For directions to the church, log onto http://www.crossingumc.org/home/directions/.
