Chipotle, a quick-service restaurant chain, will start dishing up its award-winning gourmet burritos, bowls, tacos and salads to the public onApril 21 in the Colonial Plaza shopping center at 323 W. Main St., Freehold Township. This will be the third Monmouth County Chipotle.
Chipotle Mexican Grill offers a focused menu of burritos, tacos, burrito bowls (a burrito without the tortilla) and salads made from fresh, high-quality raw ingredients, prepared using classic cooking methods and served in a distinctive atmosphere.

Jean-Philippe Bocage, M.D., and Robert Caccavale, M.D., both board certified thoracic surgeons, have joined the medical staff at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. They have been named co-medical advisers to CentraState’s Lung- Care Comprehensive Cancer Program. The physicians were among the first thoracic surgeons in the world to help develop and perform video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS), a significant advancement in minimally invasive lung cancer surgery. Together they have successfully completed more than 6,000 VATS procedures.
In addition to providing minimally invasive VATS, the LungCare Comprehensive Cancer Program at CentraState offers radiation oncology, chemotherapy and clinical trials. A revolutionary approach to cancer treatment called proton therapy is slated to be introduced next year.

Chelsea Senior Living has named assisted living professionals with many years of experience as the executive directors at two of its New Jersey communities. Joanne Prospero is the new executive director at the Chelsea at Manalapan. Prospero had been with Chelsea Senior Living as director of the Country Cottage memory impairment program at The Worthington in Brick Township for three years. Prospero lives in Howell. Alison Manasso has been named executive director of The Worthington in Brick Township, managed by Chelsea Senior Living. Manasso was previously the executive director at the Chelsea at Manalapan, where she worked since 2003. Manasso lives in Freehold with her husband and three children.
Dr. Gerald Mauriello Jr., a podiatric surgeon at Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute, Freehold, and a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine of Advanced Foot Ankle Institute, a division of AOSMI, has begun offering treatment for ankle arthritis using the Scandinavian Total Ankle Replacement system (STAR Ankle), a technology the FDA approved last year.
The STAR Ankle is offered as an alternative to fusion for those suffering with post traumatic arthritis, osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis of the ankle joint. This system helps to optimize ankle movement and function by creating a new surface that replaces the arthritic ankle joint. As a result of the surgery, the typical patient can usually walk normally and engage in activities such as golf and hiking.

Gary Foley, of Voorhees, has been named general manager of iPlay America and Encore Event Center, Freehold Township. Scheduled to open this fall, iPlay America will be the largest indoor amusement park and event venue in New Jersey, according to a press release. As general manager, Foley will be in charge of the daily operations, staff, and the coordination of all activities for the entire facility. His focus will be to integrate iPlayAmerica into the community, providing a solid employment base and a unique entertainment venue.
Theresa DeSalvio, a member of the faculty of MonmouthAcademy, Howell, recently presented her paintings, “Inside China,” at Broadway & LRC Galleries at Passaic County Community College, Paterson. DeSalvio began her large-scale paintings following a trip to Beijing, China, in 2009. Based on observation, photographs and imagination, the work attempts to capture the spirit of the people as China transforms into a modern society. During her visit to Beijing, DeSalvio photographed the people as well as important historic and architectural sites.
