Pro wrestling will return to the Manville VFW hall at 600 Washington Ave. at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, May 6.
The evening of National Pro Wrestling Superstars will feature former WWE superstar and a major-championship holder Kurt Angle. He’s a current TNA superstar.
Also featured on the bill will be Carlito, a second-generation star from one of pro wrestling’s most famous families. He’s a WWE international and tag-team champion and talk show host.
The evening is a benefit for Manville Boy and Cub Scout Troop 193.
Smith Hart, oldest brother of former WWE legends Bret Hart and the late Owen Hart, will make a special appearance.
NWS cruiser champion Spyral will defend his title against high-flying Chikara Wrestling star Frightmare, and NWS tag-team champions Jersey Shore Jocks (Mike Dennis and Chris D’Andrea) will defend their titles against the duo of “Mr. Entertainment” J.D. Smoothie and “High Definition” Chris Steeler.
There will also be a Lumberjack Match and a tag-team grudge match.
