PRINCETON JUNIOR SCHOOL’S GRADE IV CLASSES AID JAPAN
princeton, new jersey, APRIL 18, 2011:
The Grade IV classes at Princeton Junior School developed, planned, and executed a fundraiser last week to benefit victims of the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan. Led by Adela Agnew and teachers Elisabeth Fuccello and Joe Hindelang, the students enlisted the help of their parents and baked cookies and cupcakes, brownies and muffins and then sold them at morning snack time and during the afternoon dismissal last Friday, April 15th. A grand total of $353 was raised and will be donated to the American Red Cross Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Fund.
Princeton Junior School is an independent school offering the highest standard of education for children ages 2 through Grade V. The School is situated on seven acres near the intersection of the Route 206 and Fackler Road in Lawrenceville. The site, near a branch of the Shipetauken Creek, includes meadows, woods and wetlands.
