HILLSBOROUGH: Library to show three movies

Hillsborough’s public library will show three films in the next two weeks.
The Oscar-winning film, “The King’s Speech,” will be shown at 7 p.m. tomorrow, Friday, and 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3.
This year’s “best movie” tells the story of King George VI’s struggles to overcome a speech stammer prior to a radio address to the nation at the beginning of World War II. It stars Best Actor-winning Colin Firth, Geoffrey Rush and Helen Bonham Carter.
The library will also host the showing of a classic action movie, “The Train,” at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10. One of Burt Lancaster’s most acclaimed films and personal favorites, the 1964 version of the movie has good cast, great action and a terrific story line.
The Friday Night Movie at 7 p.m. on May 13 is “Hereafter,” starring Matt Damon, Cécile De France and Bryce Dallas Howard.
