LAMBERTVILLE: Voters approve school budget

   LAMBERTVILLE — Voters on Wednesday approved the proposed Lambertville Public School budget, 408-337.
   Approval of the $3,059,072 tax levy means a school tax increase of about $42 for the average homeowner.
   John Livingston (377 votes), Anna Nicolas (377) and Nancy Kienzler (361) ran unopposed for seats on the LPS Board of Education.
   In another uncontested race, Lambertville voters cast ballots for two candidates seeking re-election to the South Hunterdon Regional High School Board of Education. Cheryl Carpenter received 404 votes and Dan Seiter received 387.
