MANVILLE: Elks host Mother’s Day ceremony

   On Mother’s Day — Sunday, May 8 — the Manville-Hillsborough Elks Lodge No. 2119 is honoring all mothers at its annual Mother’s Day Ceremony.
   The ceremony begins promptly at 1 p.m. at the Elks Lodge on Brooks Boulevard. Following the ceremony, there will be a brunch buffet which is new this year.
   Exalted Ruler Andrea Liptak wants to this make a special day for all moms.
   ”With spring there is a renewed sense of life. What better way to appreciate life is by honoring our mothers! The Elks would like to invite the community to join us for our Mother’s Day Ceremony,” she said.
   All mothers attending will receive a flower and special bouquets will be presented to the youngest and oldest mother.
   The brunch is $10 for adults and $5 for children 3 to 10; children under 2 are free. Brunch includes egg soufflé, fruit salad, assorted Danish pastries, chicken marsala, red roasted potatoes, stuffed shells, steamed vegetables, chicken fingers and fries, coffee, tea and water.
