A Raritan Avenue resident reported at 9:43 a.m. on April 18 that sometime between April 11 and April 15 someone stole her 10 mg methadone bottle. Police said she suspects that it was people who were cleaning her air ducts.
Edward Shaw, of 407½ Stone St. in Osceola Mills, Pennsylvania, was charged with driving while intoxicated at 11:22 p.m. on April 18, police reported. Kwik Response towed the vehicle under John’s Law, and Mr. Shaw was released to his father.
A South Third Avenue resident reported at 5:07 p.m. on April 19 that somebody entered her vehicle overnight, while it was parked in front of her house, and attempted to punch out the ignition in an attempt to steal it, police said. Patrol responded and reported that there was an unknown type object broken off inside the ignition of the vehicle. The damage prevents the doors from locking. It was reported as a matter of record.
A St. John Street resident reported at 7:14 a.m. on April 20 that somebody wrote curse words and a derogatory word on his vehicle with a red marker overnight. The value of the damage is $50, police said.
A caller reported to police at 10:05 a.m. on April 22 that a home he had been constructing on East Camplain Road had been entered overnight and three light fixtures, one chandelier and two pendant hanging lights were taken. The total value is $950.
