STOCKTON: Voters defeat school budget

STOCKTON — Voters on Wednesday defeated the proposed Stockton School budget, 63-52.
The $649,709 tax levy would have resulted in a school tax increase of about $25 for the average property owner.
No one filed to run for David Pasicznyk’s school board seat, but Mr. Pasicznyk received 13 write-in votes, enough to return him to office.
