Dedication set

The John R. Brillman Memorial at Pat Livezey Park will be dedicated with the planting of a copper beach tree on Sunday (May 1) at noon. Bring a picnic basket, blankets and chairs for an old-fashioned community picnic to share stories of Mr. Brillman (shown above) and the community he loved. Fifteen years ago, Mr. Brillman, Pat McKearn and Cece Brillman planted the first trees and bulbs at the park, which Mr. Brillman helped establish for Pat Livezey, his longtime friend and president of the New Hope Automobile Show. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the rain date will be May 15 at noon
