Bordentown City
Marc McGhee, 36, of Philadelphia, was charged with resisting arrest and obstruction of the administration of law April 20.
Police observed Mr. McGhee going door to door soliciting without a permit on East Church Street, which is a violation of a city ordinance.
Police discovered a $500 warrant from Pennsauken for Mr. McGhee. He was arrested on the warrant.
Mr. McGhee refused to cooperate with police, pushed himself away from the officer, refused to be handcuffed and fled down Second Street, police said.
He was apprehended and taken to Burlington County Jail in default of $2,500 bail.
Joshua Chaney, 22, of Lumberton, was charged with speeding, reckless driving and drunken driving April 8.
Police were operating radar on Route 130 and noted a vehicle going 59 mph in a 40-mph zone.
Police stopped Mr. Chaney, who was released to a friend pending a court date.
Florence
Darius Diggs, 26, of Florence, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance April 20.
Police saw Mr. Diggs and were aware he had an outstanding warrant, police said. They stopped the vehicle in which Mr. Diggs was a passenger. A controlled dangerous substance was found in his possession, police said.
Mr. Diggs was sent to Burlington County Jail in lieu of $12,500 bail.
Michael McKeen, 25, of Crosswicks, was charged with drunken driving, reckless driving and failure to maintain lanes April 21.
Police saw a vehicle swerving between the left and right lanes of north Route 130 and stopped it, police said.
After speaking with the driver, police detected the odor of alcohol and asked Mr. McKeen to perform a field sobriety test. After failing to perform the test satisfactorily, Mr. McKeen was arrested, police said.
His blood alcohol content was found to be .16 percent, police said.
Mr. McKeen was released to a friend pending a court date.
William Truch, 34, of Hamilton, was charged with a failure to appear warrant for speeding and failure to signal a turn April 24.
Police observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Hornberger Avenue, police said. They followed the vehicle into the intersection of Route 130 and Hornberger Avenue when Mr. Truch made a left-hand turn onto Route 130 without using his turn signal, police said.
Police stopped him, and a check revealed the warrant from Hamilton Township.
Mr. Truch was released after posting $195 full bail.
Gina Cooper, 32, of Florence, was charged with disorderly conduct and inciting a riot, and Monique Oliver, 36, of Roebling, was charged with disorderly conduct, inciting a riot, aggravated assault on a police officer and obstruction of the administration of law April 19.
Police were sent to the 600 block of West Third Street for a large fight in progress. Upon arrival, police encountered around 30 people in the area, police said.
Two male juveniles were arrested for disorderly conduct and inciting a riot, police said. During the arrests, an officer was assaulted by Ms. Oliver, police said. Ms. Cooper also was arrested.
Ms. Cooper and the juveniles were released pending court dates. Ms. Oliver posted $1,000 bail and was also released pending a court date.
Police were not injured.
Mansfield
Verone Jenkins Jr., 38, of Columbus, was charged with making a false public alarm, aggravated assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct April 23.
Police were dispatched to the Corner House Bar on East Main Street for an emergency 911 call. Upon arrival, police were approached by the caller, Mr. Jenkins.
It was determined Mr. Jenkins asked the bartender to use the telephone and proceeded to dial 911 even though there was no emergency situation, police said.
While speaking with Mr. Jenkins, he began yelling and stepped toward police in a threatening manner before shoving an officer in the chest, police said. After a brief physical struggle, Mr. Jenkins was arrested.
The officer did not suffer any injuries.
Mr. Jenkins was sent to Burlington County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
