   Melvin Siliezar Alonzo, 29, of Princeton, was charged with assault and possession of false documents. At 11:21 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded to Mr. Alonzo’s residence on Witherspoon Street on a report of an assault in progress. During arrest processing, he was found to have three false documents in his possession, including two fictitious United States Social Security cards and one fictitious United States permanent resident card. He is being held on outstanding warrants.

   Police are investigating a report of numerous thefts from cars parked in residential driveways on Shadybrook Lane, Dodds Lane, Overbrook Drive, Littlebrook Road, Bertrand Drive, Magnolia Lane, Deerpath and Caldwell Drive. Police determined that between 8 p.m. on Saturday and 6 a.m. on Sunday, about 35 unlocked cars were broken into. Items stolen include loose change, laptop bags, sunglasses and a wallet. Anyone with information regarding the thefts is asked to contact police at 609-921-2100 or the confidential tipline at 609-688-2049.
   Herbert Carden Jr., 39, of Princeton, was arrested at 1:03 p.m. on Saturday. While conducting a motor vehicle stop at Alexander Street, police found that the driver, Mr. Carden, had an active warrant out of Princeton Borough for $186. He was later released after posting the $186 bail.
   Plainsboro
   Police are investigating a reported theft that occurred between 11:30 p.m. on Sunday and 6:51 a.m. on Monday. A resident of Hunters Glen Drive reported that unknown persons removed all four tires from his car. The total value of the tires is estimated at $500.
   Police are investigating an incident of alleged harassment that occurred at 10 a.m. on Monday. A resident of Windmill Court reported that an unknown person had used her name and likeness on two Internet file-sharing websites. She said the person made posts on these websites and posted pictures of her and her family.
   West Windsor
   Police are investigating an incident of burglary, theft and criminal mischief. A resident of Sequoia Court reported that between 4:30 p.m. and 10:50 p.m. on April 22, unknown people broke into the residence and stole several electronic items and cash. The value of the stolen items is estimated to be more than $2,000.
   A 17-year-old Hamilton resident was charged with shoplifting from Walmart in the Nassau Park Shopping Center. At 3:21 p.m. on April 22, the juvenile allegedly concealed a bottle of Robitussin and attempted to exit without paying. He was detained by Walmart personnel and later released to a parent, pending court.
   Clifford F. Folke, 61, of Trenton, was charged with shoplifting from the Wegmans in Nassau Park Shopping Center. At 2:34 p.m. on April 22, a Wegmans loss prevention officer apprehended Mr. Folke while allegedly attempting to shoplift $405 worth of food items. He was arrested and later released, pending court.
   Police are investigating a theft of services at the Lukoil gas station on Route 1. At 10:31 p.m. on Sunday, a gas station attendant reported that a black male had pumped $64 worth of gas and gave the attendant a credit card. When the card was declined, the man drove off southbound on Route 1 before paying. The suspect is described as between 35 to 40 years old, has short black hair and a thin mustache. He was driving a dark green SUV.
   Police are investigating a theft that occurred at Craft Cleaners on Princeton-Hightstown Road. The owner reported that between April 21 and April 22, an envelope containing almost $3,500 in cash and checks made out to Craft Cleaners had been removed from the rear of the store. He does not suspect his employees.
   Jessica Powell, 19, of Trenton, was charged with driving while intoxicated, equipment violations, probationary driver violations and reckless driving. At 12:58 a.m. on Sunday, police stopped Ms. Powell on Route 1 near Meadow Road. Ms. Powell stopped in the left lane of travel and did not pull over to the shoulder of the road. Police arrested her after administering field sobriety tests. She gave breath samples at headquarters. She was later released, pending court. Her car was impounded.
