EAST WINDSOR: New printing business opens in township

EAST WINDSOR — A college textbook-printing company opened a regional production center in Twin Rivers earlier this month, according to a news release from Mayor Janice Mironov.
BR Printers, headquartered in San Jose, California, moved into the 36,000-square-foot facility at 70 Lake Drive on April 18. General Manager Darrin Isaacs said the company chose that location to move near a major client. Currently, it has a “start-up crew” of six employees but will likely expand from there if it can acquire additional clients in the area.
”Never know what’s out there,” Mr. Isaacs said. “We’re excited, we’re trying to get everything kicked off here.”
The building is still unmarked as the printer is just starting operations.
In the mayor’s news release, she said, “Due to our prime central location and proximity to excellent transportation networks, East Windsor Township will serve as a great business site for BR Printers. The decision of BR Printers to locate in East Windsor further demonstrates the township’s attraction to innovative growing firms.
”BR Printers is a successful high-growth potential company that uses leading-edge technologies to meet their client demand needs,” Mayor Mironov said in the release.
According to BR Printers’ Web page, the company manufactures digitally printed materials “for higher education custom publishers, corporate training and product documentation departments.” The company’s services focus on corporate training, marketing materials, CD and DVD duplication, product documentation, online services and copy services.
The company also operates a production center in Independence, Kentucky, and has global partnerships in London, England; Dublin, Ireland; Prague, Czech Republic; Chennai, India; Shanghai, China; and Melbourne, Australia.
