Hillsborough police responded to the area of 186 Capricorn Drive for a report of a possible stabbing on Sunday, April 24. Upon arrival, officers located a Capricorn Drive resident with a wound to the left side of his head.
The on-scene investigation revealed that the victim was struck with a wooden board outside of the apartment building. The victim was transported to Somerset Medical Center by the Hillsborough Rescue Squad, and the matter is still under investigation by the Detective Bureau. There are no charges at this time.
Debra Gannon, 53, of Franklin was charged with driving while intoxicated and failing to stay in a lane at 2:26 a.m. on April 8 on Amwell Road.
Ms. Gannon, who was released after processing, registered a blood-alcohol content reading of 0.22 percent. New Jersey law states that BAC above 0.08 percent is considered drunk.
David Sokolowski, 28, of Hillsborough was charged with driving while intoxicated, careless driving and driving an uninspected vehicle at 11:37 p.m. on April 22 on Hamilton Road.
Mr. Sokolowski registered breath results of 0.17 percent BAC and was released after processing.
A Huff Lane resident reported on April 25 that someone entered his unlocked vehicle, which was parked in front of his residence, overnight and stole $2,350 worth of luggage and electronics.
