Outgoing school board member Judy Lindenberger was honored by the Hopewell Valley Regional Board of Education at its April 27 meeting, held just before the polls closed on school election day.
”Judy worked hard to improve the district’s communication,” said Superintendent Thomas Smith. “She was also willing to ask tough questions that challenged the administration to examine current operating procedures. The district is better off because of her.”
Ms. Lindenberger was given a commemorative plaque by the board thanking her for service. She served a full three-year on the board, holding one of Hopewell Township’s seven seats on the nine-member regional board.
Pennington and Hopewell Borough hold one seat each. Ms. Lindenberger did not seek re-election.
Township incumbents Roy Dollard and Laura Desai were re-elected. Newcomer Adam Sawicki was elected to the board and will fill the seat vacated by Ms. Lindenberger.
