Princeton Borough
Adam Dainty-Nagore, 19, of Princeton, was charged with unlawful taking of means of conveyance, driving without a license, and failure to yield the right of way at an intersection. At 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, police stopped Mr. Dainty-Nagore on Witherspoon Street. Subsequent investigation found he was an unlicensed driver and that he had taken the vehicle without consent of the owner. He was arrested and later released, pending court.
John Gore, 52, of Princeton, was charged with theft. At 8:20 a.m. on Monday, police responded to a report of theft at the Nassau Presbyterian Church on Nassau Street. A woman reported that Mr. Gore had stolen her suitcase that was unattended in the church. Based on the physical description given by witnesses, police located Mr. Gore several minutes later near St. Paul’s Church on Nassau Street. The suitcase was located in an alleyway near 7 Vandeventer Avenue. Police said some property that had been removed from the suitcase was later recovered at Mr. Gore’s residence on Pine Street. The total value of the stolen property was about $550. Mr. Gore was arrested and later released, pending court.
Plainsboro
Police are investigating a incident of fraud. At 1:35 p.m. on March 19, a Plainsboro restaurant on Market Street reported that while delivering food to the Ravens Crest Apartments, an unidentified person paid for the $54 order with a credit card they were not authorized to use.
Jennifer M. Larkin, 32, of Plainsboro, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and failing to use a hands-free device while driving. At 11:03 a.m. on Sunday, police stopped Ms. Larkin on Plainsboro Road on suspicion of driving while talking on a cell phone. After speaking with her, police determined she was intoxicated. She was arrested and later released, pending court.
Police are investigating an incident of criminal mischief that occurred in the Morris Davison Park. At 9:42 p.m. on Monday, police conducting an area check observed graffiti on an electrical box. The graffiti was indistinguishable and written in black paint. The damage is estimated at $100.
Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at Hunters Glen Drive. A resident of Hunters Glen reported that sometime between April 30 and Wednesday, an unknown person had forcibly entered their home and took a laptop, a security deposit box, sunglasses and $600 in cash. The total value of the stolen property was about $4,000.
Montgomery
Brett A. Schilling, 21, of Ewing, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. At 1:32 a.m. on Monday, police observed Mr. Schilling’s car parked off the road on the Skillman Village property where he was asleep. Police said they awoke Mr. Schilling and asked him to exit the car, revealing that he had been sitting on a glass jar containing marijuana. He was arrested and later released, pending court.
