Animal Alliance is hosting “Taste of Italy,” a fundraiser featuring Italian wine from Philip’s Wine of Stockton and “delizioso” small bites tasting, on May 15 from 4-6 p.m. at Hamilton’s Grill Room, 8 Coryell St., Lambertville.
This event also will feature a Tricky Tray, raffle prizes and a 50/50 drawing.
Tickets are $75 per person. Anyone interested in attending can email Animal Alliance volunteer Denise Nardi at [email protected]
Proceeds will benefit Animal Alliance’s Planned Pethood Low Cost Spay/Neuter and Vaccine Clinic in Lambertville, and the Daniel Lustig Special Medical Fund for injured dogs
Planned Pethood is open three days per week and is expected to alter over 2,000 animals belonging to area residents this year.
The Daniel Lustig Special Medical Fund is devoted specifically to the care of dogs with an injury, infirmity, or illness that requires veterinary care and rehabilitation.
”Taste of Italy” will help raise necessary funds to help Animal Alliance care for the hundreds of dogs the agency takes in each year from local animal shelters. Animal Alliance places animals removed from shelters into temporary foster care where they are rehabilitated, spayed or neutered, restored to health and readied for a speedy adoption, and places several hundred dogs into permanent homes each year.
