Investors Savings Bank will celebrate the opening of a new branch on West Main Street in Freehold Township on May 14. During the grand opening, the bank will donate $25 to Camp Quality New Jersey or IEP Youth Services each time a person opens an account at the new branch between May 12-16. Camp Quality New Jersey provides year-round activities for children with cancer and their parents, and IEP Youth Services has been helping Monmouth County youth who are in crisis since 1986.

The Goddard School of Morganville has for the fourth year in a row been awarded the Circle of Excellence award. This award was given to the top six Goddard schools in the nation that have achieved the highest standards in the areas of health and safety, curriculum, overall quality, occupancy, appearance, curriculum resources, customer satisfaction and business operations. In addition, the Goddard School of Morganville recently collected $270 for St. Jude Children’s Hospital during its annual “Trike-A-Thon.”

TheYMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties has announced that Jennifer Maloney will serve as aquatics director at the Y’s Mount Laurel location. In this position, Maloney will be responsible for the Mount Laurel aquatics program, including building programs, the scheduling of swimming lessons and classes, and the Super Saturday program, which introduces residents with developmental and/or physical disabilities to specialized activities at the Y.

Previously, Maloney served as an English teacher and head swim coach at Marlboro High School in Marlboro. She brings eight years of previous experience with her, as she served in various roles for the YMCA of Western Monmouth County in Freehold Township, including pool club manager, pool deck manager, lifeguard instructor and swimming instructor. Maloney received her bachelor’s in English from Georgian Court University, Lakewood. She lives in Freehold with her three children.
