Shredder Day thanks

Roger A. Plew, chairman, Bordentown Township Environmental Commission
Thank You. Thank You.
On Saturday, May 7, the Bordentown Township Environmental Commission held its second annual Paper Shredder Day. We shredded 1,500 lbs. of paper.
I would like to give my heartfelt ‘Thanks’ all the residents who attended, making it such a success and in helping the environment.
I also want to extend my gratitude to my fellow commission members, Sid Morginstin and Sal Schiano for their time and effort and to the township’s Chief of Police Frank Nucera and his department for their support and assistance.
I must also recognize and thank Porchlight.org who donated energy saving CFL light bulbs that were given out to all attendees.
As a lot of people contributed in making this event as successful as it was, it would not have been possible were it not for the 2011 Bordentown Township Environmental Commission supporters:
Crestview Deli, R W Tire, Wisdom Diner, Sportsmen’s Center, Mastoris, Instant Blinds, Bordentown Retro Fitness, Rita’s Ices of Bordentown Rt.206, Bordentown Barbershop Rt. 206, Home for Funerals, Palermos, Timeless TAT2, Bordentown Bagels, Auto Body by Duie, songmeanings.net, Bordentown ACME , Button Stamp Co., Bordentown Shoprite and Committeeman Jason Medina.
If it weren’t for their support, this event would not have taken place, so I ask all residents to please support the businesses that support your community.
Again, ‘Thank You’ to all who attended and I hope to see you all again next year (and more of you) at our third annual Paper Shredder Day.
