Donations help make Stockton PTO event a success

Last weekend, the Stockton Borough School’s PTO held its ninth annual Pasta Dinner and Art Auction. The event at the historic Stockton Inn was a great success, due in no small part to the generosity of Stockton Inn owner Fred Strackhouse.
After the event the Stockton Inn donated the cost of the dinners, more than $1,200, to the PTO.
”We are grateful to the Stockton Inn for hosting our event, and for their generous donation,” said PTO President Julia Greco. “We also appreciate the many other generous donations we received from local artists, including Sue Roseman and Peter Errico of Riverbank Arts, Jerry Cable, Diana Contine, Tony LaSalle, Constance Bassett, Bob Beck, Beatrice Bork, Florence Moonan, Nic Messina, Ruth Manning, Joanne Nestor, Laurel Nestor-Pasicznyk, Nora Lewis, Mindy Mutterperl, Susan Goeckeler and many others.”
A number of merchants also made generous donations, including Kristin Meil of Meil’s Restaurant in Stockton, which provided the desserts; Dilly’s Corner, Hamilton Grill, Lambertville Iris Patch, Peddler’s Village, Phillips’ Fine Wines, Riverside Symphonia, Sergeantsville Grain & Feed, Trenton Thunder, the Woolverton Inn and others.
In all, the event raised more than $6,000 for the PTO. All proceeds are used for programs that benefit the students of Stockton Borough School.
