Lambertville police reported:
— On May 2, Officer Michael Miloszar was called to the Big Bear Natural Foods store on North Union Street to investigate a report of shoplifting. Business owner Rafi Gardel said a woman shoplifted various items, including hand lotion, soap, and vitamins totaling $53.96. After an investigation was completed, Lenore C. Orrell, 33, of New Hope, Pa., charged with shoplifting. She also was found to have an active motor vehicle warrant out of Readington Township Municipal Court for $2,000 dollars. She was lodged in the Hunterdon County Jail.
— On May 6, Stanley Z. Edden, 35, of Basking Ridge, was stopped on Route 179 for speeding by Sgt. Robert Brown. As Mr. Edden was retrieving his documents from his glove box, the sergeant saw a glass pipe commonly used to smoke marijuana, and a bag of suspected marijuana in the glove box. Also located under the front passenger seat was a glass jar containing suspected marijuana. Mr. Edden was charged with DWI, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He also was issued the following motor vehicle summons: failure to keep right, driving without a license, speeding, careless driving, and CDS in a motor vehicle. He was lodged in the Hunterdon County Jail.
— On May 7, Adam R. Bittel, 23, of Lambertville, was stopped on Arnett Ave by Sgt. Brown for failure to keep right. Mr. Bittel was subsequently charged with DWI, careless driving and failure to keep right. Mr. Bittel was released to a friend.
New Hope police reported:
— On April 10 at 2:12 a.m., police cited Christopher Henrich, 33, of Bristol, Pa., for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, as a result of an incident that occurred on South Main Street.
— On April 23 at 12:54 a.m., police cited Michael Luscukie, 19, of Lambertville, for underage drinking, as a result of an incident that occurred on South Main Street.
— On April 26 at 1:37 p.m., police cited a 17-year-old from Levittown, Pa., for retail theft, after she reportedly attempted to remove items valued at $69.85 from a South Main Street establishment.
