Stockton firefighters slate fundraiser

   The Stockton Fire Company will hold its annual BBQ and Beer Picnic fundraiser on May 21 at the Stockton Firehouse, Mill Street, from 4-7 p.m.
   The menu will include beef, pork, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, salads and more.
   Family entertainment includes a disc jockey, face painting, fire hose demonstrations and bocce ball
   In addition to the barbecue, the firehouse will host a silent auction with items donated by local merchants, including gift cards, gas grills, restaurant gift certificates, and more.
   ”The Stockton Fire Company is a volunteer organization which relies heavily on donations to support our operations,” said Tony Grecco, president. “I encourage you to join us at our barbecue fundraiser for fun, food and entertainment.”
   Tickets to the all-you-can-eat fundraiser are $20 for adults in advance, and $10 for children 6-12 in advance. Tickets at the door are $25 for adults and $10 for children 6-12.    Organized in 1908, the Stockton Fire Company is a nonprofit all-volunteer organization whose purpose is to take emergency protective measures to save lives, protect property and ensure public health and safety of area residents. The volunteers cover Stockton Borough, parts of Delaware Township, and parts of Kingwood Township. The company operates with one engine, one tanker pumper, one rescue truck, one utility truck and two ambulances.
