MONROE: Man charged with stabbing bar patron at Ryan’s Pub

   MONROE — A 22-year-old man was stabbed at Ryan’s Pub on Spotswood Englishtown Road early Friday morning.
   Monroe Township Police Lt. Marc Jimenez said in a news release that 30-year-old Bakeer Cole, of Orchard Apartments in East Windsor, walked into the police station and turned himself in after police issued an arrest warrant against him on a charge of attempted murder.
   He was processed, then released on a $50,000 bond posted by an unspecified bail bond company.
   Police said they went to the rear parking lot of the bar at 299 Spotswood-Englishtown Road at 1:48 a.m. last Friday after getting a report a fight was going on.
   Police found a man who was involved in the fight, suffering what appeared to be stab wounds to his chest and arms, police said. He was identified as Grant Kenny, 22, of Belford. He was taken to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, where he was treated and released.
   Police said they determined Mr. Cole used a knife during the fight to stab Mr. Kenny. They issued an arrest warrant charging Mr. Cole with attempted murder.
