HILLSBOROUGH: Police blotter for week of May 19

During the overnight hours from Friday to Saturday (May 13-14), 26 vehicle burglaries were reported to the police department.
Chief Paul Kaminsky reminded residents to lock their vehicles and remove valuables from plain view.
He said these were examples of “opportunists” who take advantage of easy targets, such as unlocked vehicles, that contain valuable items, such as global positioning systems and laptop computers, and lesser items, such as compact discs and even loose change.
