Saturday June 11, 6:30PM at Rowland Park Main Diamond: Please join family, friends and neighbors from South Brunswick for the 3rd Annual SBAA Coach’s Baseball Game with this year’s Diabetes Awareness event.
Cheer on your favorite SBAA Baseball and Softball coaches as they show off their skills in this 3rd Annual event. The evening will include prizes, giveaways, and kids games.
A pre-game BBQ will be held at 5:30 p.m. and cost $6. Other items will also be available at the snack shack.
Music will be played throughout the night and a humorous play-by-play of the game, poking fun at the coaches is a fun time that should not be missed.
This year’s game will feature Diabetes community awareness and raise $’s for JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
Facts on Type1 and Type2 diabetes will be provided and qualified medical personnel on the St. Peters Hospital Health truck will conduct free blood sugar screenings.
We would like to identify boys, girls and coaches from SBAA (past and present) that battle this disease everyday and introduce them during the game.
To be included, please provide child and family contact information to Cindy Moran [email protected] so they can be included in the program.
Anyone with potential sponsorship contacts from pharmaceutical, diabetes supply and insulin pump companies, that may want to be included in the program (contribute time, information and/or donations to JDRF), please send info to the email listed: [email protected].
Volunteers to help out for the event are welcomed and should contact us at [email protected].
Additional information can be found on SBAA’s Website: http://www.leaguelineup.com/welcome.asp?url=sbaa.
