   Police are investigating a theft from a motor vehicle. A resident of Huntly Place reported that sometime overnight between Saturday and Sunday, someone stole three GPS units worth about $300 from their vehicles, which were parked in their driveway. The vehicles might have been unlocked.
   Miguel Angel Ortiz Jr., 21, of Trenton, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, driving on the revoked list, driving without a license and an equipment violation. At 3:10 a.m. on Wednesday, on Route 1 North police stopped him near Varsity Avenue. Police administered field sobriety tests. He was arrested and given breath tests at police headquarters. His car was impounded. He was later released to a friend, pending court.

   Stanley Olszewski, 49, of Milltown, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and careless driving. At 8:44 p.m. on Wednesday, police stopped Mr. Olszewski on Dey Road and determined he was intoxicated. He was arrested and later released on his own recognizance, pending court.
   At 9 a.m. on Sunday, police responded to a report of theft at Sugar and Sunshine Bakery on Market Street. The owner reported two unknown people attempted to steal a large wooden bench, valued at $1,296, from outside the business at about 12:20 a.m. The people abruptly fled the scene. The incident was captured by an in-store video surveillance camera.
   Police are investigating an incident of burglary and theft that occurred between 1 p.m. on Saturday and 12 p.m. on Sunday. A resident of Ashford Drive said someone broke into the residence and stole property.
   Police are investigating two other incidents of burglary and theft on Ashord Drive. At 11:36 p.m. on Saturday, police responded to a report from two reports of break-ins on the street. At the time of the report, the cost of the property damage and value of stolen jewelry and cash was undetermined.
   Wallace Tsoi, 27, of Cranbury, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone, reckless driving, improper use of multiple beam headlamps and unclear license plate. At 1:04 a.m. on Friday, police stopped Mr. Tsoi in the parking lot of the Princeton Meadows Shopping Center and determined Mr. Tsoi was intoxicated. He was arrested and his car was impounded. He was later released on his own recognizance, pending court.
