HILLSBOROUGH: Township woman’s ‘moment’ wins jewelry prize

   Ji Hae Ju of Hillsborough is the grand prize winner of the Pandora international fine jewelry company’s nationwide “My Moments” contest.
   Ms. Ju selected her prize, valued at $5,000, from the PANDORA store in the Bridgewater Commons Mall on Friday morning.
   The “My Moments” contest ran from mid-March through April, and was advertised in the April issue of Elle magazine. Consumers could visit the contest website (www.pandora.net/mymoments) and create personal scrapbooks celebrating an unforgettable moment in their lives. Entrants could customize the style, images, theme, colors and music, as well as upload photographs.
   Pandora received more than 5,000 scrapbook entries from across the United States.
   The grand-prize winning scrapbook, as well as the nine other finalists’ scrapbooks, can be seen on the website.
   The two runnersup are Rosemary Palad of Providence, R.I. and Betsy Ott of Titusville, Fla. They received a Pandora black leather bracelet with 14-karat gold clasp and 10-year anniversary charm in 14-karat gold ($1,025 retail value).
   The leading jewelry brand’s collections include watches, necklaces, earrings, pendants and stackable rings, in addition to more than 800 charms crafted by hand using the finest 14K gold, sterling silver and gemstones.
