The Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 77, serving Howell, Jackson, Lakewood and Plumsted, meets on the second Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Jackson VFW, Magnolia Drive, Jackson. Any veteran who was injured during his or her service in the armed forces is welcome to attend a meeting and to join the DAV. A summer carnival brought by St. Aloysius and St. Monica will be held 6-10 p.m. June 1-4 at St. Aloysius parish grounds, 935 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson.
