HAZLET — A book discussion, robotics competition and a children’s concert are among the programs offered in June by the Hazlet branch of the Monmouth County Library System.
Bookbites Book Group for Adults – Bring Your Lunch!, noon, June 23. “Loving Frank” by Nancy Horan, a first novel, tells the story of the long-lived affair between Frank Lloyd Wright and Mamah Cheney, a married woman whomWright beguiled.
Intro to Robotics, 6 p.m., June 27. Teens will learn how to program a robot, steer the robot through a maze and compete against other robots. Participants must be able to stay the full duration of the program. For sixth grade and up. Register at library.
“Friends Around the World” with Yosi, 3:30 p.m. June 30. Yosi Levin celebrates this year’s One World, Many Stories summer reading clubs with an interactive, multicultural sing-along. Learn songs and dances and explore musical instruments from around the world. Tickets are required – call library for details.
