Lambertville 
   A man with a prosthetic leg was charged with drunken driving May17 at 12:15 a.m. after an officer heard squealing tires in the area of Bridge and Union streets.
   Patrolman Michael Miloszar heard tires screeching and a vehicle accelerating while on patrol in that area, police said.
   The only vehicle he saw was a black Ford pickup pulled over on Delevan Street, police said. The driver was identified as John Maier II, 32, of Nashua, New Hampshire.
   Field sobriety testing was not possible due to Mr. Maier having a prosthetic leg, police said.
   He also was charged with careless driving, reckless driving and refusal to submit to a breathalyzer and was released to a friend.
   Laura Winterhalter, 47, of Lambertville, was served a warrant from the Flemington Police Department at 6 p.m. May 17.
   The warrant was for issuing a bad check.
   May 22 at 6:03 p.m., Patrolman Vincent Albani went to 2 Elm St., the Niece Lumber parking lot, for a report of a fight in progress.
   Upon arrival, the officer met with Brent Johnson, the victim, 27, of East Brunswick, and Carl Ippolito, 52, of Lambertville.
   Mr. Ippolito had approached Mr. Johnson and insisted the cell phone he was using was his and it just had been stolen. Mr. Ippolito believed his phone was taken out of his vehicle, which was parked on North Union Street.
   He was using an application on his son’s phone that would track his iPhone. He tracked the phone to the area of the towpath near Niece Lumber.
   Mr. Johnson tried to walk away, but Mr. Ippolito grabbed his shirt and pulled Mr. Johnson to the ground, police said. He struck Mr. Johnson in the head and body with closed fists, police said. Mr. Johnson suffered a minor laceration to his chin.
   Mr. Ippolito was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.
New Hope 
   April 16 at 1:34 a.m., Stephen Andree, 29, of Doylestown, was charged with drunken driving after he was observed operating his vehicle in an unlawful manner in the area of West Mechanic Street and Stockton Avenue.
   May 6 at 10:07 p.m., Pamela Iorio, 54, of Doylestown, was charged with drunken driving after she was observed operating her vehicle in an unlawful manner on West Bridge Street.
   May 8 at 1:58 a.m., Gary Nucera, 28, of Bordentown, was charged with drunken driving after he was observed his vehicle in an unlawful manner in the area of West Mechanic Street and Stockton Avenue.
   May 15 at 1:49 a.m., Derek Brown, 31, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, was charged with drunken driving and related traffic offenses after he was involved in a hit-and-run traffic accident on South Main Street.
   May 22 at 12:24 a.m., John Giacobbe, 22, of New Hope, was charged with public drunkenness after he was found to be in an intoxicated state in a West Bridge Street establishment.
   May 22 at 2:16 a.m., Catherine McCarthy, 22, and Shana Oppenheim, 21, both of New Hope, were charged with public drunkenness as a result of an incident on West Bridge Street.
West Amwell 
   Friday at 7:46 a.m., police responded to Mill Road for a large tree blocking the road.
   The road was closed for a half an hour while Public Works removed the tree.
   Monday at 11:53 a.m., a motor vehicle stop for an uninspected vehicle resulted in the discovery of an outstanding traffic warrant from Hamilton Township.
   Malinda Morales, 21 of Ringoes, was stopped on Route 179 near Cedar Crest Drive when the warrant was discovered.
   She was arrested by Patrolman Timothy Vanselous and released on $120 bail.
