People for Animals Helps Keep Pets Safe this Summer by Offering Discount Microchips in Asbury Park on June 4th

People for Animals
Bring your pup and join us at the “Pets Are Family Too” festival in Asbury Park (Bradley Park at 5th and Ocean Ave) on Saturday, June 4th from Noon until 3:00 pm for a fun day at the beach.
A pet promenade alongside the boardwalk will kick off at noon. Fabulously adorned pets and people will stroll down Ocean Avenue strutting their stuff. Prizes for best use of the rainbow and most fabulously dressed will be awarded. Pet oriented vendors and rescues will be in Bradley Park at the end of the walk, where contest winners will be announced.
People for Animals will be performing on-site microchipping by Home Again for $25.00 — a $10.00 discount – to promote pet safety.
Microchipping is an added measure of security pet owners need in this day and age, says Fundraising Coordinator Rose Tropeano-Digilio. My dog doesn’t go anywhere without her Home Again tag.
Some of the benefits Home Again microchips provide include:*
Permanent Listing in Pet Recovery Database
Trained Lost Pet Specialist Available 24/7
Emergency Medical Hotline
Rapid Lost Pet Alerts
Travel Assistance for Found Pets
*Fees and services subject to change
In addition to microchipping, PFA will also be taking spay/neuter surgery appointments.
Rescued Dogs will be available for adoption. See our website at www.pfaonline.org for available dogs.
