The Brookdale Community College Alumni Association Juried Art Show is celebrating its 25th year with the 2011 exhibit. The community is invited to view the exhibit, which runs through June 20 in the CVA Gallery at Brookdale’s main campus, 765 Newman Springs Road, Lincroft. Parking is most convenient in lot 2.

The winning artists are: First Prize: John Carey, Freehold, “February,” acrylic/mixed medium on panel.
Second Prize: Dorothy Lawrence, Morganville, “Martha’s Kitchen” acrylic.
Third Prize: Joyce Anastasia Urbanski, Holmdel, “Antelope bowl,” Raku stoneware.

This year’s winners were selected by Robert and Elisabeth McKay, owners of McKay Imaging Photography Studio & Gallery, Red Bank. The couple has co-chaired the Brookdale Alumni Art Show for seven years.
The CVA gallery at Brookdale is open for the Juried Art Show Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. The exhibit is closed on weekends.
