HIGHTSTOWN: Police Blotter

   Hightstown
   On May 25 at 9:54 a.m. on Rogers Avenue, officers arrested Alberdeen Johnson Jr., 52, of Wynbrook Apartments, in East Windsor.
   Mr. Johnson was charged with contempt of court, police said.
   Officers found, once dispatched on the scene, that Mr. Johnson matched the description of a suspicious person complaint that had just been issued.
   A credential check revealed an active warrant issued by Trenton Municipal Court in the amount of $10,000. Mr. Johnson, Jr. was turned over to Trenton Police Department in lieu of posting bail.

Officers arrested Joseph Seagrave, 30, Freehold, at 6:33 p.m. May 25and charged with contempt of court. The arrest occurred at Hightstown Borough Municipal Court, according to a police report.
   Mr. Seagrave was in court on an unrelated matter and was found to have three active warrants for his arrest: $2,500 issued by Edison Municipal Court; $1,000 issued by North Brunswick Municipal Court; and $300 issued by Woodbridge Municipal Court. Mr. Seagrave was later released upon posting bail.

   Karen Deleon, 22, of Evanston Drive, East Windsor, was charged with contempt of court and arrested at the Hightstown Borough Police Department 4:12 p.m. May 27.
   Ms. Deleon turned herself into authorities on a warrant issued for her arrest by the Hightstown Borough Municipal Court in the amount of $350, police said.
   Ms. Deleon was later released upon posting bail.

   Officers arrested Marco Cadena, 20, at the Tavern on the Lake just after 2 a.m. May 28.
   Mr. Cadena, of Princeton Arms Apartments, in East Windsor, was charged with underage possession of alcohol and disorderly conduct.
   Officers were dispatched to Tavern on the Lake for an unruly customer who was intoxicated, the police report said. Officers observed the Mr. Cadena, in a highly intoxicated state, hiding beneath a stairwell in the center of town.
   Mr. Cadena was taken into custody and was later released to a friend with pending court action.

       At 2:33 a.m. on Franklin Street, officers arrested Kelli O’Brien, 20, of Edison, and charged with underage driving while intoxicated, speeding and reckless driving on May 28.
   She was also charged with careless driving, failure to maintain lane, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and failure to exhibit an insurance card.
   Ms. O’Brien was stopped for traveling 45 mph in a 25 mph speed zone and was observed by the officer crossing the double yellow line on several occasions.
   Upon stopping Ms. O’Brien, the officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. Ms. O’Brien failed to properly perform sobriety tests, according to police. Ms. O’Brien submitted breath samples resulting in a reading of 0.07% BAC.
   Ms. O’Brien was later released to a family member with pending court action.

   Just shy of 8 a.m. on May 28, officers were dispatch to the 400 block of Mercer Street in response to a reported theft.
   The unidentified victim stated that an unknown subject had stolen a sign stating "Prom Flowers" from the lot in Michael’s Plaza. It was reported that the sign had a value of $25.
   Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Hightstown Borough Police Department.

   On May 28 at 11:43 p.m. on Dutchneck Road, officers arrested Kelly Odenheimer, 38, of Voelbel Road, East Windsor, and was charged with driving while intoxicated.
   Ms. Odenheimer was also charged with driving while intoxicated in a school zone, failure to maintain lane, reckless driving, and careless driving.
   Ms. Odenheimer was stopped after the officer observed her drive over a cement island in the middle of town, police said.
   Upon stopping her, the officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. Ms. Odenheimer was given field sobriety tests, which she failed, and was arrested.
   Ms. Odenheimer submitted breath samples resulting in a reading of 0.13% BAC.
   She was later released with pending court action.

   On May 31, on Summit Street, officers arrested John Xenos, 24, of Morrison Avenue, Hightstown, for aggravated assault, among other charges.
   An investigation resulting in a search warrant for Mr. Xenos’ residence resulted in a seizure of the stun gun, trace amounts of marijuana, and various drug paraphernalia.
   Mr. Xenos was charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, possession of a stun gun, possession of marijuana under 50 grams, and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
   Bail in the matter was set at $15,000 with 10% and Mr. Xenos was released after posting bail with pending court action.
