LIBRARY CORNER: Week of June 2

Events at the Bordentown Branch of the Burlington County Library System at 18 E. Union St., Bordentown City:
FOR ADULTS
”Wii for Seniors” is a video game experience for the senior crowd! Play games on the big screen in the comfort and company of your peers. It’s fun and easy when you do it at the library! The June programs will be on Wednesday, June 22 at 10:30am. This program does not require registration.
Each month, the library hosts a book discussion group.
The book choice for the June 14 program is “The Romance Reader” by Pearl Abraham. “Abraham shows strong talent in her debut novel, the story of a young girl’s coming-of-age in an ultraorthodox Hasidic home. The reader soon cares deeply about narrator Rachel, the eldest of six children, who yearns for some of the forbidden fruits of the secular world.” (Publisher’s Weekly)
You can reserve a copy of this book by coming into the library, calling us at 609-298-0622, or by going online at www.bcls.lib.nj.us.
Are you looking for a little extra help trying to do something online or on your laptop? Andy the librarian can take the time to sit down and assist you.
