Township
   Luis Armando Diaz, 27, of Princeton, was arrested and charged with obstruction of justice. At 2:50 a.m. on May 31, police responded to a residence on Leigh Avenue to a 9-1-1 call for assistance. Mr. Diaz was identified by the caller as an individual who had accosted him in the street. He was released on his own recognizance, pending court.
   Thomas Warren, 29, of Hamilton, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. At 10:42 p.m. on May 31, police were on foot patrol in the area around Community Park South when they observed a man exiting the park after hours and get into a parked car. They said they approached the car and observed a quantity of marijuana inside. A subsequent search of the car revealed paraphernalia. He was later released on his own recognizance, pending court.
   James E. Porter III, 22, of Richard, Va., was arrested on an active criminal warrant. At 5:53 p.m. on May 31, police received notification of an individual soliciting without a permit and located Mr. Porter on Hickory Court. While checking his documentation, police determined he had a felony warrant out of Buckingham County, Va. He was taken to Mercer County Correctional Facility to await extradition to Virginia.
   Kristofer M. Jackson, 28, of Hightstown, was arrested on an active traffic warrant. At 5:26 p.m. on Wednesday, police stopped Mr. Jackson at Witherspoon Street after a license plate inquiry showed the owner had an active warrant for $190 out of Princeton Township. Mr. Jackson was later released after posting bail.
   Daniel Bravo Saavedra, 20, of Princeton, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. While on foot patrol around 3:05 a.m. on Sunday, police observed Mr. Saavedra’s car strike a curb as he attempted to park on Leigh Avenue. Field sobriety tests administered on the site indicated Mr. Saavedra was intoxicated. He was later released, pending court.
   Gary Lunsford, 53, of Philadelphia, was arrested on an active traffic warrant. At 8:15 p.m. on Saturday, while conducting a stop on State Road, police found that Mr. Lunsford had an expired Pennsylvania driver’s license. Subsequent investigation found that Mr. Lunsford had an active warrant for $250 out of Brigatine. He was released after posting $250 bail.
   Pamela Hall, 40, of Princeton, was arrested on an active traffic warrant. At 9:04 a.m. on Saturday, police conducted a random license plate inquiry of a New Jersey vehicle registration, which revealed an active warrant for Ms. Hall, the registered owner, for $304 out of Princeton Township. She was released after posting the $304 bail.
   West Windsor
   Verda A. Demircan, 21, of West Windsor, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. At 4:07 a.m. on Saturday, police stopped Ms. Demircan at the intersection of Alexander Road and Canal Point Boulevard. She was also charged with reckless driving and an equipment violation. She was released, pending court.
   Fortune I Ajuka, 19, of North Brunswick, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at 9:04 p.m. on Sunday on Route 1 South near Alexander Road. He was also charged with improper window tint, driving with a suspended registration, failure to exhibit an insurance card and possession of drugs in a motor vehicle. His car was impounded. He was released, pending court.
   Plainsboro
   Elisabeth H. Scott, 27, of Royerford, Pa., was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated at 1:21 a.m. on Saturday on Route 1 South. She was also charged with reckless driving and failure to maintain lane. She was released, pending court.
   A resident of Yardley, Pa., reported her 2005 Hyundai sedan was stolen between 2 p.m. on Friday and 3:18 a.m. on Saturday while parked in a lot in the Ravens Crest condos. Police are investigating after being unable to locate the car. The value is estimated at $7,600.
   A resident of Plainsboro Road reported being the victim of attempted burglary between 12 p.m. on May 24 and 12 p.m. on Wednesday. No items were reported missing.
   Carl M. Tilson Jr., 54, of Hamilton, was arrested and charged with burglary, theft and possession of a controlled dangerous substance at 2:03 p.m. on Saturday at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratories. The site security said they detained Mr. Tilson, who was an employee, after seeing him removing copper from a building on the premises. He was also charged with possession of prescription legend drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of hypodermic syringes. He was taken to the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center in default of $25,000 bail.
   Shoug Abuelhawa, 25, of South Brunswick, was arrested and charged with obstruction of justice at 9:31 a.m. on Sunday after pursuing him for speeding on Route 1 near Sayre Drive. He was charged with 14 motor vehicle violations, including driving while suspended, driving without insurance, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving an uninspected vehicle. He also had an active warrant for $500 out of Clifton for failure to appear in court for driving while suspended. Mr. Abuelhawa was later released after posting $1,000 bail for the warrant of obstruction of justice and meeting the requirements of Clifton township court.
   Edward M. Bains Jr., 31, of Trenton, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia at 9:11 a.m. on Sunday after police stopped him on Route 1 North. He was also charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, failure to wear a seatbelt and failure to inspect. He was later released on his own recognizance, pending court.
   Jelena Zurovac, 31, of West Windsor, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated at 2:04 a.m. on Sunday after a stop on Route 1 South near Alexander Road. She was additionally charged with driving while intoxicated in a school zone, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain a lane and failure to exhibit her driver’s license. She was later released on her own recognizance, pending court.
