Princeton Township
Issa M. Bannourah, 26, of Princeton, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and speeding. At 12:13 a.m. on Saturday, police stopped Mr. Bannourah for speeding on State Road. Police determined he was intoxicated after administering field sobriety tests. He was later released to a friend, pending court.
Jason Webber, 24, of Scranton, Pennsylvania, was charged with careless driving and driving an overweight vehicle on a 5-ton road after being involved in an accident on Quaker Road. Police said that at 9:28 p.m. on Sunday, Mr. Webber missed his turn for Sam’s Club to make a delivery and continued onto Quaker Road. While negotiating the curve in the Port Mercer area, he struck a guard rail and his truck became disabled. Quaker Road was closed for about two hours while police investigated and the trailer was towed. No injuries were reported.
Plainsboro
Paul C. Miller, 29, of Dayton, was arrested and charged with attempting to obtain a controlled dangerous substance by fraud. At 8:05 p.m. on Wednesday, police responded to CVS Pharmacy at 4 Schalks Crossing Road for a report of an individual attempting to fraudulently obtain a prescription. Upon arrival, police determined Mr. Miller had called in a prescription that had not been prescribed to him, using his doctor’s prescription information. He was taken to the Middlesex County Adult Correctional Center in default of $2,500 bail, pending court.
An employee of Community Middle School reported being the victim of credit card theft and fraud. The Cream Ridge resident said between 8 a.m. on June 1 and 4:26 p.m. on June 5, someone had stolen their credit card while at school and attempted to make two separate purchases with the card at Best Buy. The purchases were not authorized by the bank, so there was no financial loss. The Detective Bureau is investigating.
George Smith, 52, of Plainsboro, was arrested and charged with violating a court order, defiant trespassing and harassment. At 5:53 p.m. on Thursday, police arrested him at his residence on Pheasant Hollow Drive. Mr. Smith was charged with the offenses after he violated a municipal court order by incessantly telephoning and leaving food and notes at the police department, which was prohibited by the court order. He was also charged with harassment for making inappropriate and harassing comments towards a female communications officer. He was later released, pending court.
Montgomery
Isaac B. Muck, 19, of Hillsborough was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. At 10:43 p.m. on Thursday, police stopped Mr. Muck on Burnt Hill Road for speeding. Police detected the odor of raw marijuana and observed loose green vegetation on the floorboard. Police found four bags of marijuana totaling less than 50 grams and a glass pipe. He was also charged with possession of drugs in a motor vehicle and speeding. He was released, pending court.
