HILLSBOROUGH: Anti-bullying policy on tap

Will be discussed at Monday’s meeting

Next Monday, the school board will consider a policy to meet a new state law known as the “Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act.”
Under the law, the board must involve the community in developing the policy, which affects harassment, intimidation and bullying. It describes pupil expectations, consequences of violations and remedial actions.
The board is asking people to review the policy on its website and to comment both on the website and at Monday’s meeting at 7:30 p.m. at the Auten Road School.
