A bicycle was reported stolen at an undisclosed Livingston Drive. Police said the theft occurred between 3:30 p.m. June 7 and 9:45 a.m. June 8.
The bike, a brown Raleigh 3-speed, worth $185, was left unsecured in his unnamed victim’s backyard on Livingston Drive when it was stolen, according to police.
A burglary occurred at a house on Moorsgate Circle between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on June 8.
The unnamed complainant reported that his home was entered through an unlocked door and assorted jewelry worth approximately $15,930 was stolen, police said.
The incident is under investigation.
Lance Jenkins, 47, of Colonade Motel, was arrested for domestic violence 1:20 a.m. June 12, police said.
Officers responded to the Colonade Motel for a report of a disturbance. Upon arriving at the room, the officers were advised by an unnamed victim that Mr. Jenkins had attacked her during an argument and thrown her into a wall.
She said Mr. Jenkins then began to strangle her by placing his hands around her neck and squeezing while telling the victim that he was going to kill her, police said. The woman had visible signs of injury on her neck.
Mr. Jenkins was arrested and later detained at the Mercer County Detention Center in default of $10,000/full bail set for the charge of aggravated assault. The victim refused medical treatment.
Hightstown
On June 8 at 11:44 p.m. on Franklin Street, officers arrested Julianne Ilaria, 22, Jackson, New Jersey.
Ms. Ilaria was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone, reckless driving, expired registration, and failure to inspect, police said.
Ms. Ilaria was stopped after a random license plate inquiry indicated the vehicle’s registration was expired; the vehicle also had an expired inspection sticker.
While approaching the vehicle, the officer detected a strong odor of burnt marijuana coming from the passenger compartment of the vehicle. Police said she presented signs of intoxication and was given field sobriety tests, which she failed.
Ms. Ilaria was taken into custody, submitted to a DRE examination, and was found to be under the influence of marijuana.
Ms. Ilaria was later released to a friend with pending court action.
Officers arrested Michael Rubenstein, a 46, of Robbinsville, at 2:48 a.m. June 11 on Mercer Street for driving while intoxicated.
Additionally, Mr. Rubenstein was charged with driving while intoxicated in a school zone, reckless driving, careless driving, and failure to maintain lane.
While on patrol, an officer observed Mr. Rubenstein making a turn and almost striking a curb in the process. Then, he crossed over the double yellow line, and traveled in the opposing lane of travel. Mr. Rubenstein was driving in a serpentine manner, police said.
Mr. Rubenstein was stopped by the officer, who detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. Mr.
Mr. Rubenstein was given field sobriety tests, which he failed, and was taken into custody. The driver submitted breath samples resulting in a reading of 0.11% BAC.
The subject was later released to a family member with pending court action.
On June 11 at 1:35 p.m. officers arrested Wild E. Oster, 19, of Cranford on Mercer Street and charged with contempt of court.
Officers responded to the area on a reported suspicious vehicle and found Mr. Oster asleep in his vehicle, police said. A credential check revealed an active warrant issued by Scotch Plains Municipal Court in the amount of $200.
Mr. Oster was later released on his own recognizance.
Sean Hunt, a 26, of Dennison Drive, East Windsor, was charged with reckless driving at1:52 a.m. June 12 on Franklin Street.
Mr. Hunt was also charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit breath samples, headlamps required, and for failure to maintain lamps, police said.
He was stopped for having no taillights and for having only the driver’s side brake light functioning, according to police. Upon stopping his vehicle, the officer detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the driver.
Mr. Hunt was given field sobriety tests, which he failed, and was taken into custody. The driver refused to provide breath samples while in custody.
Mr. Hunt was later released to a friend with pending court action.
Between 1 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. an unknown person or group of people pelted a parked vehicle with eggs in the 100 block of South Main Street.
The incident caused slight damage to the vehicle, police said.

Officers arrested Leonardo N. Del Rosario, a 24, of Oak Lane and charged him with disorderly conduct 2:34 a.m. June 14. Officers found Mr. Del Rosario to be highly intoxicated. While on patrol, officers observed the subject peering into windows of a residence on Oak Lane, police said. Mr. Del Rosairo was not able give his address to the officers and had no form of identification.
Mr. Del Rosario was taken into custody and was later released upon becoming sober with pending court action, police said.
Juan Argueta, 32, of Trenton, was arrested and charged with contempt of court 2:14 a.m. June 15.
While on patrol, officers observed Mr. Argueta sitting on the steps of a closed business in the center of town.
Upon a credential check, officers found two active warrants for Mr. Argueta. The warrants, issued by Manalapan Municipal Court, totaled $2,000, police said.
Mr. Argueta was taken into custody and was turned over to officers of the Manalapan Police Department in lieu of bail.
