Gifts for the library: If you have new books, DVDs and CDs that you no longer need, please consider donating them to the library. In addition, monetary contributions are accepted. Your donations are IRS tax deductible. Due to budget cuts, your donations are needed and greatly appreciated. In advance, the library would like to thank everyone for their generosity.
Summer reading: Registration runs until June 20. Session begins on Monday, June 27, 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. for students entering kindergarten to grade 8.
Summer books for sale: The library is selling a large selection of biographies, novels, mysteries and more. Hard cover books sell for 50 cents, soft cover 25 cents or by the bag for $2. VHS tapes are three for $1.00. Stop by the Circulation Desk.
Chess Club: The club meets every Saturday at 10 a.m. All ages are welcome.
Crochet and Knitting Club: Meets Wednesday, June 29, at 6:15 p.m. in the Community Room. Bring your yarn and needles and join us. All are welcome, whether you are a novice or experienced.
Hungry Readers Book Club: The club meets the second Monday of each month from noon to 1 p.m. All are welcome. Call Beverly Ball at 908-722-3057.
