Mr. Burke, 62, of Freehold Township, died June 18, 2011, at home. He was employed as an auto mechanic at Berky’s Auto Service in Freehold Township for the past 20 years. Prior to that, he was an equipment operator at Midland Glass Co. Mr. Burke was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was predeceased by a daughter, Jennifer Burke, in 2000. Surviving are a son, George A. Burke of Middletown; a daughter, Kelly Burke of Huntingtown, Md.; his mother, Pauline M. Burke of Freehold Township; a brother, R. Jeffery Burke of Freehold Township; a sister, Janet G. Sangiovanni of Freehold Township, and two grandchildren. A funeral Mass was offered at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold Township, followed by interment at Harmony Cemetery, Jackson.
