There will also be at least 10 food vendors offering everything from pizza and Oriental Bar-be-que to cotton candy and ice cream.
The highlight of the event will occur at about 9 p.m. when the sky will light up with the fireworks spectacular.
“Last year we had over 5,000 people attend,” said South Brunswick Councilman Joe Camarota, who co-chair’s the committee along with Councilman Charlie Carley. “Our goal was to make the festival a family event the entire town could circle on their calendar each year. We received so many positive comments last year, that we’re sure there will be just as many attending this year.” The festival committee is made up of community volunteers and is financially supported through contributions of local businesses and residents.
Rain date for the fireworks will be Sunday, July 3. For more information, contact the South Brunswick Recreation Department at (732) 329-4000 ext. 7681.
