   Irving Newlin II, 59, of Princeton, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit to breath tests. At 12:24 a.m. on Saturday, police responded to the area of the WaWa market on University Place on a public safety officer’s report of a man unconscious in his car. Police determined Mr. Newlin had been driving while intoxicated. He was released on his own recognizance, pending court.
   Guy Castronova, 22, of Lawrenceville, and Patrick Jeffers, 23, of Jersey City, were arrested and charged with theft. At 12:32 a.m. on Sunday, police said they observed the two men stealing a 12-pack of beer from the Ivy Inn on Nassau Street. They were released on their own recognizance, pending court.
   Rishi Dixit, 43, of Dayton, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. At 12:53 a.m. on Sunday, police stopped Mr. Dixit at Nassau Street and determined he was intoxicated. He was released on his own recognizance, pending court.
   Plainsboro
   Salyn Vargas, 27, of East Windsor, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault on a school staff member. At 2:38 p.m. on June 10, police responded to the Town Center Elementary School for an altercation between a teacher and Ms. Vargas, a parent. The teacher had received a scratch on her arm that was 4 to 5 inches long. Police interviewed Ms. Vargas, the teacher, a student involved and several witnesses before making the arrest. She was later released on her own recognizance, pending court.
   A Cleveland, Ohio, resident reported being the victim of theft while staying at the Courtyard by Marriot hotel. At 5 p.m. on Thursday, the man said two women posing at hotel employees had knocked on his door to deliver towels. A short time later, he said he found his wallet was missing, which contained $300 cash, credit cards and personal information.
   James D. Rovegno III, 25, of Shrewsbury, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. At 2:58 a.m. on Friday, police stopped Mr. Rovegno on Schalks Crossing Road and determined he was intoxicated. He was also charged with an improper turn at traffic signal, an improper left turn, failing to follow a marked course, careless driving and reckless driving. He was later released on his own recognizance, pending court. A passenger identified as Ramon A. Sanchez Jr., 23, of Plainsboro, was arrested after police found he had an active traffic warrant for $215 out of South Amboy. Mr. Sanchez was released after a relative posted bail.
