Abiding Presence Lutheran Church in Ewing will hold its Vacation Bible School August 7-11 this year.
This year’s theme is Hometown Nazareth: Where Jesus was a Kid. Children will become part of history as they see, hear, touch, and even taste what it was like to live in Jesus’ hometown. They will explore shops, visit Jesus’ mom, take part in games, dance to lively songs, and sample tasty tidbits as they discover more about Jesus’ childhood. These experiences make God’s Word come alive with new meaning for all who participate. Phyllis Gould, who has organized Vacation Bible School at Abiding Presence for more than 25 years, will once again be the coordinator of this year’s Vacation Bible School.
The Vacation Bible School is from 6:30 pm to 9 pm each evening from August 7 through August 11. A meal is offered for participating families from 6 to 6:30 each evening. All children age 4 through those entering 6th grade are eligible to register. 3-year-olds are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian accompanying them.
For more information or to register for this free program, contact the church office by July 25 by calling (609) 882-7759 between the hours of 9 am and 2 pm Monday through Friday, or emailing [email protected].
